Open Innovation

Overview

Open (as opposed to closed) innovation is based on the premise that organisations gain value by inviting contributions and ideas from partners, customers and individuals external to the organisation.

OI assumes that often the most innovative ideas exist beyond the traditional boundaries of the organisation and are accessed through the establishment of collaborative networks.

Resources

You may find our new on-line 'i-diagnostic' helpful in pinpointing where you have strengths and which are your most powerful enablers of organisational innovation and creativity and equally where your biggest barriers exist. The questionnaire takes about 15-20 minutes to complete and may offer you valuable insights into where to invest your limited time and resources. For a copy of a sample report please email Dr Tom Kennie at tkennie@ranmore.co.uk.
